Occasionally Perfect. The Billboard: Beer and Brand Brilliance.

I’ll admit it. I do drink an occasional Heineken.

The Heineken group, purveyors of 200 some brands, among others, Amstel®, Dos Equis®, Foster’s®, Kingfisher®, Newcastle Brown Ale®, and Tecate®, have provided some great images in advertising over the years.

But now, working with W+K New York, they may have forged a real breakthrough that goes beyond great images in Ads. Just occasionally, though. Taking the most analog of advertising mediums- the billboard- Heineken has created “Occasionally Perfect”. Brilliant in its simplicity. Delivering on the WOW factor only occasionally, once you’ve seen it, you’ll look every time you pass, you wouldn’t want to miss something:

Heineken turned this billboard in NYC “perfect” just last week, and has promised more. They won’t say when. You’ll just have to keep looking.
